Company Description
TOMRA, an international recycling company, is looking for a Box Truck Driver to transport used beverage containers and store supplies in a safe and timely manner.
HOURS: Monday through Friday, 7:00a - 5:00p
PAY: $21.50/hr + overtime
Job Description
* Operates a box truck that transports cargo to and from specified destinations
* Prepares, receives and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick up of goods to ensure timely service
* Loads, secures and unloads cargo
* Maintains radio or telephone contact with dispatcher to receive delivery or pick up instructions or to receive notice of changes in scheduled delivery or pick up
* Maintains logs of travel and cargo according to federal and state regulations
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Box Truck Driver
* A valid driver's license
* Must have a "satisfactory" driving record.
* Familiarity with GPS devices
* Ability to lift heavy packages, up to 50lbs +
* Availability to occasionally take weekend shifts
* A polite and professional disposition
* Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour)
* A high school diploma
