About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief People Experience Officer (CPX) to lead its people strategy and enhance the overall employee experience. The CPX will be responsible for aligning HR initiatives with business objectives, providing oversight for operational and administrative goals, and leading efforts in employee engagement, workforce management, learning and staff development, and compliance. This role requires a human-centered approach and a commitment to fostering a culture of belonging, inclusion, and innovation. The CPX will also be a key member of the Executive Team, working with all levels of management and staff to create and maintain an effective organizational work environment. Candidates for the CPX position should have a minimum of 10 years' progressive HR experience, with a strong background in multiple HR disciplines and a proven track record in organizational management. Experience in nonprofit or human services organizations is a plus. The ideal candidate will be a strategic business partner, adept at handling employee relations issues, and will have a deep understanding of applicable HR laws and regulations. A Bachelor's degree in HR or business is required, with a Master's degree preferred, and certification in SHRM and/or HRPI is also desirable. The CPX should be a capable, decisive leader with excellent communication, project management, and influencing skills, and a commitment to anti-racism and anti-oppression values.
