GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
As a member of the MAI Marketing Team, the Digital Marketing Content Manager is responsible for producing and distributing high quality digital content that enhances our brand and engages our various audiences. In this role, the Digital Marketing Content Manager will need to understand the motivation behind what drives our various audiences to elevate messaging, bring our brand to life, and improve results. The individual in this position must possess excellent organizational and content generation skills to effectively execute across a variety of media.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Write, edit, and publish content that motivates, inspires, educates, informs, sells, and provides information for MAI websites, blogs, videos, social media posts/campaigns, email campaigns, e-books, webinars, and more.
- Craft social media messaging to effectively convey key points, strategically tweak language, hashtags, and SEO across a variety of diverse audiences to grow social following. Responsible for daily social engagement and reputation management.
- Create PowerPoint presentations that convey content in a compelling format that drives engagement, brand recognition and conversion.
- Add blogs, refresh landing pages, and update existing page content. Serve as liaison between company and current website provider to implement website changes that are desired.
- Manage SEO to drive organic traffic. Provide ongoing analysis on rankings and engagement metrics with recommendations on areas to improve for social and website.
- Use your knowledge of SEO and content development to create digital content that helps us get found via search engines and showcases our company as a leader within the industry.
- Help MAI become an influencer who makes an impact within the industry through the production of digital content that meets the client’s need across the marketing funnel.
- Conduct thorough research on digital industry trends and competitive landscape while staying up to date on digital marketing trends and tools.
- Help our internal teams understand how to amplify digital content. Offer virtual training classes, develop on demand educational materials, and find ways to continually engage our internal audience.
EXPERIENCE/CREDENTIALS
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or relevant field. MBA preferred.
- Direct experience with a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) firm or Wealth Management company preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years’ digital marketing experience with a focus on digital content creation, website management, graphic design, and social media management. Strong portfolio samples required.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience with interviewing subject matter experts.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience (hands on not via a vendor) with testing, measuring, and optimizing SEO. Certifications a plus.
- An understanding of inbound marketing, customer journey mapping, and how content impacts other channels to improve client engagement.
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, Adobe, PowerPoint, One Note)
- Hands on experience working with Word Press, Adobe, Canva or other design tools experience.
- Experience in video content creation and editing; podcast development a plus.
- Working knowledge of CRM systems to create campaigns and events.
