Vendor vetting involves the objective retrieval and analysis of a business entity’s, corporate structure, leadership team, business affiliations and reputation. Pre-emptive credentialing depends on the accuracy of public record information and relationship discovery to determine collusion and other sophisticated schemes. Similar to background screening, identifying red flags and patterns of fraudulent activity are key. In tandem, corroborating findings through a triangulation methodology utilizing web-based external sources will ensure mutual success.

Responsibilities:

This is a fast-paced, detail-oriented, career-building position. The role is multi-faceted, requiring critical thinking, effective executive-level verbal and written client / customer service skills and the ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously with a diverse team of investigative experts.

Familiarity with criminal procedure and civil litigation components, as well as obtaining and authenticating pertinent business registration and licensing documents. Conducting searches on Federal, State and County levels.

Performing a preliminary evaluation of sole proprietors or business entities through telephone interviews, assisting with vendor registrations for the online Vendor Management System and answering support calls and sending email correspondence.

Starting Pay: $25 per hour, plus excellent benefits, and potential for bonus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
