Job Description
YRCI is seeking full-time Human Resources (HR) Specialists to support our HR Remote Operations Center (HRROC™), located in Reston, VA. YRCI's HRROC™ is a Shared Service Center that supports multiple Federal agencies and offers a friendly, collaborative team environment with access to training from industry experts!
- Although the YRCI home office is located in Reston, VA, this position is fully remote .
- Provide onboarding and coding support to high-profile and high-volume Delegated Examining (DE) and Merit Promotion (MP) recruitment activities for various agencies.
- Work as a part of a team, assist in training HR Assistants and perform quality review of their work.
- Responsible for quality and accuracy of onboarding activities, which include:
- Extend offers of employment to selected candidates within the guidelines of Office of Personnel Management (OPM) compensation policy.
- Draft and send written tentative and final offer letters to selected candidates.
- Request employment records through electronic Official Personnel Folder (eOPF), OPF, and Standard Form (SF)-75 data from losing agency for transfer employees.
- Respond to Applicant inquiries regarding job announcements.
- Review, prepare, and code Accession SF-52s per the OPM Guide to Coding and Processing.
- Compute Service Computation Dates (SCD) for leave, retirement, Thrift Savings Plan (TSP), and Reduction-in-Force (RIF) on each new employee utilizing the Government Retirement and Benefits Calculator (GRB).
- Review Accession SF-52s, transfers, promotions, conversions, and reassignments utilizing agency system.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of four (4) years of general experience with two (2) years of recent specialized experience in Federal onboarding and coding experience.
- Work within a wide range of HR Information Systems; apply and interpret Federal HR laws, policies, and agency-specific operating procedures.
- Knowledge of Federal schedules and the ability to accurately set pay for all types of appointment and position change actions.
- Experience processing personnel actions preferred.
- Attention to detail, data quality, and data integrity.
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the government required security check.
