BrightStar Care of Beverly Hills is looking for skilled and experienced infusion Nurses to join our team! BrightStar Care provides in-home nursing services throughout the Los Angeles Area. As a non-medicare home health agency, you will not have OASIS forms to complete!

Our part time, per diem role is completely flexible to your schedule. You have the freedom to accept only the cases that work for your schedule and that are convenient for you, with no requirement to be on call or to get approval to take time off.

RN Responsibilities include:

• Attention to Detail: Use excellent nursing skills to observe, interpret and monitor patient’s condition and notify appropriate personnel of any changes, acting as the patient advocate. Experience monitoring fluid tubes, checking infusions to make sure that medications implemented are not counteracting each other or causing a patient harm.
• Communications Skills: Discuss health care with patients and listen to their concerns
• Skilled care: Deliver direct skilled client care under the supervision of the Director of Nursing in an open and positive manner
• Compassion: Provide services requiring substantial and specialized nursing skill with a passionate heart
• Compliance: Assure proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state and federal laws where we always do the right thing, do what we say and delivery consistently on our brand promise
• Calm Under Pressure: Infusion nurses might face emergency, life-or-death situations. Being able to function in the heat of emergency will be necessary.

RN Job Requirements include:

• Current and unrestricted RN license in California.
• At least 1 year of experience as an RN, ideally with some home care experience.
• Must be a good stick - most of our patients are peripheral IV starts
• A bachelor's of science in nursing, an associate's degree in nursing, or have graduated from an accredited and approved nursing program
• Proof of eligibility to work in the US.
• Current CA Drivers License
• Reliable car and auto insurance
• Clean background and criminal record and must successfully pass drug test
• Current CPR/BLS.
• Current TB (within past 6 months)
• Current Physical (within past 6 months)

Preferred Experience: Peripheral IV starts/maintenance & IV Infusion Therapy Injection and self-infusion training, Phlebotomy for adult and pediatric patients
