The Position

We are searching for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our custodial services division as a part-time Custodian in Midtown Nashville. In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of offices, common areas, dormitory common areas, and floors. You'll also be tasked with setting up the daily alarm system.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and professional environment by dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning various areas.
• Perform floor and carpet maintenance tasks such as carpet cleaning and floor scrubbing on a quarterly rotation.
• Set up the daily alarm system.
• Adhere to company policies and customer guidelines, and follow supervisor instructions.
• Effectively communicate with supervisors, colleagues, or customers (English proficiency is a plus).

Qualifications

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Experience in commercial cleaning or home cleaning preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to lift and push up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable transportation is a must.
• Ability to work in a smoke-free environment.
• Comfortable using a smartphone to clock in/out using online timesheets.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check (required for working in facilities with children and vulnerable adults).

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive hourly wage of $20.00.
• Part-time position with a flexible schedule (Monday & Thursday: 3 pm - 7 pm, with potential adjustments during peak season).
• Semi-monthly pay via direct deposit and W-2 (paid on the 10th and 25th of each month).
• This part-time role does not offer benefits (benefits eligibility requires a minimum of 30 hours per week).
