Job Summary
Bay-CSS is seeking Overnight Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our residential team in Gambrills, MD. The Overnight DSP will be responsible for providing assistance and support to individuals with disabilities during the night shift from Sunday to Wednesday, 11pm-9am. This role requires compassion, patience, and a strong sense of responsibility. The position offers a competitive pay rate of $21 per hour with a $2 weekend shift differential.
Qualifications
Prior experience in a similar role preferred
Valid driver's license with reliable transportation and car insurance
Must pass a background check
Ability to lift at least 50lbs
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to follow instructions and work independently
Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards individuals with disabilities
Ability to maintain a safe and supportive environment
Responsibilities
Assist individuals with disabilities with nighttime routines and activities
Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals during the night shift
Document and report any issues or incidents that occur during the shift
Follow individual care plans and provide necessary support
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Maintain a clean and organized living environment
