Job Description

Advocare is a physician owned and physician governed multi-specialty medical group operating in New Jersey and the greater Philadelphia metropolitan region. Advocare has grown to become widely recognized and highly respected as one of the region's largest, independent, multi-specialty physician's groups. With six hundred providers and two hundred locations, Advocare serves approximately 590,000 patients at locations throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

This is an opportunity to work for a pediatric practice where you can share your expertise and skills. Our supportive staff is here to meet the needs of the providers so that flow is seamless and productive as possible. We are proactive in compliance with Population Health measures to assure the best outcome for our patients and their families.

Skills:
•Proven experience as a Pediatrician
•In depth knowledge of children epidemiology and infectious diseases
•Exquisite knowledge of diagnostic, treatment and rehabilitation principles and techniques
•Up to speed knowledge of drugs/medication appropriate for children and their side-effects
•Familiarity with traditional and web-based prescription systems
•Able to see on average 15-25 patients daily
•take call and see newborns in the hospitals
•Active listener, patient, calm with a warm demeanor
•Outstanding diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
•Excellent communications skills
•Valid license to practice medicine in NJ
•HEDIS and EPSDT experience helpful
•Be familiar with proper medical record documentation and E & M levels of service / Medical Decision Making
