We are looking for a dynamic Web Developer to join our team. The Web Developer will leverage programming skills to maintain and update the User Interface (UI) for government programs. The Web Developer will ensure the technical stability of the system interface and manage the SCORM content and uploads to ensure operational portability. They will also collect user data from the system to provide statistical and content analysis.

  • This position is contingent upon award.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies
  • Collaborate with designers to create visually appealing web pages focusing on user experience
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
  • Conduct website testing and debugging to ensure optimal performance
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in web development
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and define project requirements
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work
  • Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience
  • Able to obtain a minimum of NACI (National Agency Check with Inquiries) for a Veterans Affairs Public Trust Tier 3 Clearance

Required Skills:
  • Proven work experience as a web developer or in a similar role
  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web development languages
  • Experience with responsive web design and mobile-first development
  • Solid understanding of web development principles and best practices
  • Familiarity with web development frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js)
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Desired Skills:
  • Government contracting experience
  • DoD and VA experience as a contractor or otherwise
  • Former military experience
